Legendary indie rockers, Pavement are offering a lucky fan a shopping spree at IKEA. According to Pitchfork media, Matador Records and imeem are joining forces and choosing a fan to give $500 to spend at IKEA with a member of Pavement. Although there is no word on which member will join the fan on their spending frenzy, winning is quite simple.
Head to imeem’s Pavement Fans group page and upload a photo of your apartment or other humble abode and in the photo’s section, write a caption. In the short caption, you will enter why you deserve to win the IKEA shopping spree. The contest continues through Dec. 6th and a winner will be announced on Dec. 9th.
The contest is a celebration of the bands fourth album, Brighten You Corners, extended version release, according to SPIN.com. The spree is a spin off of the album’s song, “Date With Ikea.” The album will be re-released on Dec. 9.
